Andrew Nkhoma is a student from the Republic of Malawi pursuing Bachelor in Agribusiness Management at Egerton University Njoro Main Campus, Kenya. He is being supported by MASTERCARD FOUNDATION through RUFORUM. Andrew is a Malawian born on 23rd of December 1999 in Nkhata-bay district, Northern region of the Republic of Malawi. He is the third born in a family of six boys. He went to Chihame Primary school. Thereafter he was selected to go to Chintheche Community Day Secondary School, which was almost 8 km away from his home. Andrew has visions of becoming an investor and an entrepreneur. In addition, he has a vision of changing the mindset of small-scale farmers from doing agriculture for subsistence but to make them think of doing agriculture for business. Through these visions, he will be able to reduce the unemployment rate, food insecurity and improving the living standards of people.
