The TAGDev Program recently concluded a productive three-day review meeting with the University Management Board (UMB) at the FK Resort and Spa in Nyeri, Kenya (June 13th-15th, 2024). This meeting served as a valuable platform to showcase the program's achievements and engage in discussions about TAGDev 2.0.
During the review, TAGDev highlighted the milestones reached by the program itself and its constituent projects. These included the AGLEAD Recap project, the Seed Potato Value Chain Community Action Project, and the Cassava Value Chain Community Action Project. Each project presentation detailed the successes achieved in empowering communities and fostering sustainable agricultural development.
The focus shifted to TAGDev 2.0, with the program team outlining its vision for the next phase. This interactive session encouraged open discussion with the UMB on how to deliver TAGDev 2.0 most effectively. By collaboratively exploring implementation strategies, TAGDev aims to ensure its continued impact on communities and agricultural progress.
